Sources and licences
WATTWEG uses open data from public authorities and national data portals, plus our own tariff catalogue. We do not use data from price comparison services or other apps.

How we use the data
Our server downloads the data several times a day, checks it for obvious errors, merges duplicate entries and delivers it to the app as tiles. The app works out prices itself. For every price it shows the source and the time of the last report.
We pass on operators' data as reported. Where it is unclear whether VAT is included, we check this for each operator and flag any uncertainty. If you spot an error, please report it.
Not used
We do not use data from Chargeprice, Chargemap, Open Charge Map or other commercial aggregators. We take charge card tariffs only from providers' public price lists or from data the providers send us themselves.
